AUSFOREX Margin Requirements Reverting Back to Pre Election Levels

23/11/2020

Affected by the presidential election in the United States, our company has increased the margin level of all stock index products by two times on the basis of the original margin. In view of the recent stabilization of the foreign exchange and CFD markets, our company has restored the margin level of all stock index products to the normal level after the market closes at 22:00 on November 20, 2020 (GMT+0).

At the same time, we will take appropriate interim measures in the light of the latest news of the election, including raising margin requirements for all products at short notice. We usually give advance notice before taking such measures, but if the market is abnormal, we may take measures within a very short period of time or no further notice.
